Love Reading

Wonderful Children’s Book!

A wonderful children’s book about a little girl named Molly that receives a pony and she names him Sir Wallace McGee. When the pony is unsure, she gives him love and positive reinforcement. He grows and succeeds. The author does a great job of setting the story in rhyme, which is hard to do. It is well written. The illustrations are bright and colorful. My children (ages 3 and 5) loved it. It kept their attention the entire time. It has an underlying lesson of self-confidence to reach a goal and supporting others, which we discussed after we finished reading. We also talked about our horses and how they would act to a new pony. I recommend adding this story to your child’s library. It is easy to read and provides an uplifting message.
